TASTING NOTES

100 % Malbec.

Opaque violet, almost black color and a nose of intense aromas of blackberry fruit with spicy black pepper notes and black currant.

On the palate, blackberry, ripe plum and chocolate flavors with a very soft, supple mouthfeel. Excellent structure and length.

DRINK WITH

Ideal with red meats, red sauces, cheese and pasta dishes. Can age another 4-6 years.

Alcohol 14%

WINEMAKING

From Tupungato, Alto Gualtallary, 1200 meters (4000 feet) above sea level. Grown in gravel and sandy soils. Manually harvested in the beginning of April. Fermented with selected yeast for 12 days, 30 day maceration. Aged in French and American oak for 6 months and at least 4 months bottle aging.

Vineyards are from Tupungato, Alto Gualtallary, 1200 meters (4000 feet) above sea level. Grapes were grown in gravel and sandy soils and harvested manually on the third week of February. Fermented with selected yeast at max temp of 20°C for 25 days. Aged in stainless steel and 4 months of bottle aging.

Intense purple color and reddish tones. The nose presents hints of red fruits mixed with mild spices. It’s elegant in style, with minerals, cherry and black currant. The end is long and structured with fine tannins.
