Guy Bossard is another of those winegrowers who converted to certified organic methods for health reasons, after his father became very ill from agro-chemicals. Certified since 1975, he now produces one of the best ranges of wines in the Muscadet region, organic or otherwise, from just a little over 50 acres. Grapes are always hand picked and shire horses are used to plough the oldest plots.
Excellent Muscadet from one of the top producers in the region. A light, very dry wine with a slight spritz. Good intense fruit flavors from fermenting “on lees.” Its tart citrus-like acidity refreshes and pleases the palate. From the French Atlantic seacoast, it is a perfect choice for lighter meals or as an aperitif.
