chemical fertilizers since 1972, thereby allowing the fullest
expression of our grapes and terroir.
Pairing: In France this is often paired with duck.

of Château Bousquette, a 50 acre family estate, drape over the
craggy hillsides of a small town called Cessenon, only 30 miles
inland from the Mediterranean in the South of France. "Bousquette"
(pronounced boo-sket) in French means thicket or grove. The word
aptly describes the property: a simple family estate nestled in
pine trees, lavender and thyme, overlooking miles of vineyards
stretching all the way to the foot of the volcanic mountains, the
Cévennes.The vineyards are moderated by the cooling breezes from
the sea, giving the grapes a long, even growing
This delicious creation merits a spotlight. It's a perfectly
proportioned wine that takes an appellation (St. Chinian) to its
full potential. Oak aged 1 year. Brilliant garnet color, deep
blackberry aroma. Loaded with black cherry & cassis-like fruit.
Round & harmonious, it is utterly satisfying from start to
finish. Drink now or age up to 10 yrs.

This is my all-time favorite wine! Wonderful flavors, but not too heavy. Some members of my family feel the same and ask for it when they come to visit.
